Fire Door Inspections

Why We Were Founded

After speaking with a client who struggled to find a contractor for fire door assembly inspections, we realized the need for a specialized focus in this area. A conversation with a local fire marshal reinforced the importance of properly functioning fire door assemblies when he stated “it’s crucial; it’s just as important as the fire sprinkler or fire alarm system.” We founded Dunk Fire Doors to be your partner in ensuring compliance and safety.

13-point Inspection

NFPA 80 regulates the inspections of your facilities' fire door assemblies. Our 13-point inspection and compliance reports are available to you and the AHJ afterwards helping you keep track of your annual inspections.

If CMS is your regulating authority, contact us for a free checklist informing you of the seven life-safety inspections that are required:

Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Door Assemblies, Emergency and Exit Lights, Standby and Emergency Power, and Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems.

Mitigate Risk

Many organizations attempt to handle fire door inspections internally, only to face challenges when trained personnel leave or records aren’t properly maintained. Relying on internal resources can create gaps that may expose your organization to liability. By partnering with professionals, you can ensure compliance and focus on what matters most—without the risk of unexpected legal or safety issues.
